DO THE TURKEY - TROT, THAT IS! For the 22nd straight year, BBC's Campus Recreation sponsors the Turkey Trot, this year on Weds., Nov. 25 at 3:00pm. Join the runners, walkers, and other participants in this 3K jaunt around the beautiful Biscayne Bay Campus. Who knows? Maybe you'll walk away with the grand prize - your own Thanksgiving turkey! SHARE THE HEALTHY HOLIDAY SPIRIT - GIVE A CHILD A TOY! Join Recreation Services on the 5th Annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit the kids at the Miami Children's Hospital Dan Marino Center. Between Nov. 30 and Dec. 18, drop off an unwrapped new sports or fitness-related toy at the donation box in the Recreation Center lobby. Toys should be suitable for a child ages 1-16. If you would like the toy(s) picked up from your campus office, contact us at (305) 348-2575. The Toy Drive supports the Center's goal of providing programs that enhance the self-esteem of children and adolescents by promoting physical,emotional, and spiritual well-being.
