Step 1: Select a Trainer
When selecting a trainer, it is important to make sure that he or she can accommodate your schedule, meet your training needs, and is someone with whom you are comfortable with.
To make the training process easier, you may review each trainer’s profile and personal bio on-line.

- Allow 2-3 business days for Lindsay to call and schedule your fitness consultation.
Step 3: Initial Consultation and Fitness Assessment (Required of all new clients)
Your trainer will review with you your medical and fitness history, and your choice of fitness assessment option will be completed:

METABOLIC TESTING (optional)
Cost: $30 Students & Gold Rec Members / $40 Blue REC Members (These rates are 50% off the regular price)
Metabolic testing is a way of measuring your resting metabolic rate (RMR), which is how many calories you burn at rest. Metabolic testing is important because it:
- tells you how much you can eat and still lose weight,
- is sensitive to the right number of calories you need,
- will help you keep on track.
How this new equipment works: sInce it takes oxygen to make energy, we just measure how much oxygen your body uses in 10 minutes, and that tells us how many calories you are burning. It is the same technology used in hospitals and is very accurate.

BIOMETRICS NUTRITION PROGRAM (optional)
Cost: $25/6-week plan for Students / $50/6-week plan for REC Members
