Each year, Recreation Services employs over 125 student employees who serve as customer service attendants, lifeguards, group fitness and tennis instructors, intramural officials & scorekeepers, & recreation facility managers. In addition, Recreation Services is a prime assignment area for College Work Study (CWS) students.

If you are interested in a position with Recreation Services at the Modesto Maidique Campus (MMC), see the column to the right ("FALL HIRING DATES"). If you have special skills or certifications (i.e. lifeguard, group fitness instructor or personal trainer), applications are accepted any time. IM Sports referees are always in demand. Become an Intramural Sports Official!
Officiating Intramural Sports such as flag football, volleyball, soccer, basketball and softball is a great way to meet new friends, pick up strong leadership skills, and improve your self-confidence. At the same time, you can make some extra money working on campus at hours you select.
