NCSF PERSONAL TRAINING CERTIFICATION

Get certified through NCSF (National Council on Strength and Fitness). Receive hands-on instruction, utilize interactive learning, taught by expert instructors, and with a content specific focus. First Aid / CPR / AED

Location: Recreation Center Gold Fitness Room and/or Conference Room

Get certified (or re-certified) through the American Heart Association (AHA) in Heartsaver First Aid with CPR/AED or BLS for Health Care Providers. Cost includes card and materials. If you need re-certification, we are currently offering shorter review classes during the week. Contact Andy at (305) 348-0086 for more info on alternative dates.

Attendees of all First Aid/CPR/AED classes must prepay and sign up at the Rec Center Membership Desk. Upon receipt of payment, attendees will be provided the booklet for the appropriate course.

The AHA courses are valid for 2 years. Additionally, BLS for Health Care Providers is intended primarily for health care students and practitioners; however other students may be admitted with permission of the instructor. Classes may be scheduled at other times for special groups. Contact the main desk at (305) 348-2575 for special scheduling for groups of 5 or more.

PLEASE NOTE (2/1/12): Recreation Services is in the process of becoming its own certified AHA Satellite Provider. As soon as this process is completed, we will resume AHA certification classes. Thank you for your patience.
