SIGN UP FOR INTRAMURAL SOCCER

Registration is open for FIU's most popular intramural sport - 7-on-7 Outdoor Soccer! The entry deadline for the 7-on-7 Soccer League is 5pm, Weds., Feb. 1. The Captains' Meeting is set for Thurs., Feb. 2 at 4pm in RC 224. If you are interested in officiating soccer, the Soccer Officials Clinics are Tues.-Thurs., Jan. 31 - Feb. 2 ( 7-10pm). Yes, you can play and officiate!

MAKE THIS YOUR SUPER BOWL VICTORY!

It's the Friday before the Super Bowl and you want to show that you can make all the right coaching decisions for the Patriots or Giants (or maybe fanasize the Dolphins are in). Prove it in the MADDEN NFL 12 Tournament co-sponsored by GameStop and FIU Recreation Services. Tournament date is Fri., Feb. 3, registration is from noon to 2pm, and competition runs from 2-9pm in the Rec Center basketball gym. Playing platform is the XBox 360. Priority registration fee is$10 (by Sun., Jan. 29), late registration is $15. Compete for the 1st place $50 GameStop Giftcard, the 2nd place $25 GameStop Giftcard, or the 3rd place cash prize (return of registration fee). BIKE THE SHARK VALLEY ADVENTURE

Join Recreation Services' Adventure Recreation trip to Shark Valley State Park for a bicycle day tour of this nearby Everglades locale. This Saturday excursion is scheduled for Feb. 11, with a registration deadline of Mon., Feb. 6. Cost is $25 and includes transportation and bike rental (you may bring your own if you'd like). MAKE A RACKET IN 3 UPCOMING INTRAMURAL TOURNAMENTS

Three coming Intramural Sports tournaments give you the opportunity to become the racket champ of FIU! The IM Tennis Tournament is scheduled for the weekend of Feb. 10 at the FIU Tennis Center. Entry deadline is Weds., Feb. 8 with a $5 entry fee. Next up is the IM Table Tennis Tournament, scheduled for the weekend of Feb. 17. Entry deadline is Weds., Feb. 15 with a $5 entry fee. Finally, the IM Badminton Tournament will be held the weekend of Feb. 24, entry deadline is Weds., Feb. 22, and also has a $5 entry fee. Competition in the Tennis and Badminton Tournaments will be in Men's & Women's Single and Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Table Tennis competition is in men's and women's singles.
