STILL TIME TO MAKE A RACKET
The next racquet sport tournament coming up is the IM Table Tennis Tournament, scheduled for the weekend of Feb. 17. Entry deadline is Weds., Feb. 15 with a $5 entry fee. Finally, the IM Badminton Tournament will be held the weekend of Feb. 24, entry deadline is Weds., Feb. 22, and also has a $5 entry fee. Competition in the Table Tennis competition is in men's and women's singles, while competition in the Badminton Tournament will be in Men's & Women's Single and Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

NATIONAL RECREATIONAL SPORTS & FITNESS DAY - FEB. 22
Join Recreation Services for National Recreational Sports & Fitness Day on Weds., Feb. 22 as we celebrate the founding of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association (NIRSA) and the contributions that Campus Recreation makes to the lives of college and university students. Founded in 1951, the Association has grown from a small group of 12 historically-black institutions (HBI's) into the over 1,000 member global organization that now esists. PantherFIT classes will be FREE all day, and giveaways and information tables will be in the Rec Center lobby all afternoon.
PUMP IRON IN THE IM BENCH PRESS COMPETITION
Register for the annual IM Bench Press Competition to show off your strength as one of the strongest men and women on campus. Entry deadline is Mon., Mar. 5 at 5pm, with weigh-ins and competition beginning at 6pm on Tues., Mar. 6 in the Rec Center Weight Room. Competition will be in weight classes so everyone has an equal chance.
LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD MEN AND WOMEN
Recreation Services is looking for lifeguards to start in mid-March. If you are have a lifeguard certification and are interested in guarding this Spring at the Panther Hall Pool, please complete the application (click here to download) and return it to Andy Black, Recreation Services Facility Coordinator, by 5pm, Fri., Feb. 24.
